David Height III, a 27-year-old African American man from Abilene, Texas, tragically lost his life on June 25, 2022. He was fatally shot outside Spanky P's Tavern on the 2400 block of South Seventh Street in Abilene. David was on his way to the hospital after being shot when he succumbed to his injuries. His death was the sixth homicide in Abilene for the year 2022.
