Coal Stevens, a 22-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on September 15, 2021, at a hotel near the North Freeway in Houston, Texas. According to police reports, Stevens was meeting with an unidentified suspect for a business transaction when the suspect pulled out a pistol and demanded money. During the confrontation, the suspect fired a single shot, striking Stevens, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
