Atravius Theodis Burkes, a 26-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on September 15, 2021, in El Paso, Texas. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the 8900 block of Robert Drive in northeast El Paso. The altercation began when Atravius Burkes confronted 28-year-old Eduardo David Blanco about Blanco's dog urinating on the property of Burkes' girlfriend. The situation quickly escalated when Blanco retaliated by urinating on Burkes' house.
