Jesse Joseph Fischer, a 40-year-old white man from Arlington, TX, died on October 20, 2021, following a police-involved shooting. The incident began when a 911 call reported a man slumped over in his car on Pioneer Parkway. When officers, including Robert Phillips, arrived on the scene, they found Fischer awake in the running vehicle. Despite orders to shut off the vehicle, Fischer drove away, leading to a low-speed chase.
