In the winter of 2015, the life of Nicholas Lewis Patterson, a 25-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically cut short. On the evening of December 17th, Patterson was fatally shot outside a business located at 82nd Street and Troost Avenue. When emergency services arrived, they found him at the scene, having already succumbed to his injuries.
