The incident occurred in the 2700 block of Coombs Street, near Al Lipscomb Way and South Malcolm X Boulevard in South Dallas. According to police reports, Sanchez was involved in a physical altercation with 28-year-old Kevontre Jawauna Jones, who allegedly shot Sanchez multiple times during the fight.
