On June 11, 2024, at approximately 10:40 p.m., 23-year-old Stephano Jared Osorio was fatally shot in the 400 block of South Winnetka Avenue in Dallas, Texas. A 16-year-old male accompanying Osorio was also injured in the incident and transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The Dallas Police Department's investigation revealed that the shooting stemmed from an ongoing feud between the victims and 20-year-old Salvador Martinez.
Martinez was identified as the suspect and subsequently arrested. He has been charged with murder and is currently held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1 million bond.
Osorio's family and the local community have been deeply affected by his untimely death. Funeral services were held at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas, with visitation on June 20, 2024, and a funeral service on June 21, 2024. Osorio, born on May 10, 2001, was remembered for his aspirations in architecture and his recent studies at El Centro College.
