Senior Corporal Thomas Dale Bond, aged 45, was a dedicated officer with the Dallas Police Department. On December 13, 1994, while serving a burglary warrant at a home in the 2700 block of Canary Drive, he was tragically shot and killed. Bond and his partner were attempting to apprehend a suspect who was hiding inside a closet in his mother's house.
