On July 26, 2022, Xavier Yvanez, a 24-year-old man, was fatally shot at Club Blum in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. after Yvanez was involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown suspect. Following the argument, the suspect shot Yvanez multiple times before fleeing the scene. Despite the presence of around 50-60 other people inside the club, no one else was injured.
