Italia McGregor, a 24-year-old woman from Bellville, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on New Year's Day, January 1, 2022, in Houston, Texas. She was the first murder victim of Houston in 2022. McGregor was at the Five Nine Bar and Lounge in southwest Houston when a verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight, leading to the shooting.
