On January 16, 2022, Yoel Valencia-Martinez, a 33-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot outside a nightclub located at 2647 Winrock Boulevard in Houston, Texas. Valencia-Martinez had left the nightclub and was walking to his vehicle when he was confronted by an unknown male suspect. The suspect shot Valencia-Martinez multiple times before fleeing the scene in a white Nissan Altima. Paramedics transported Valencia-Martinez to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
