James "Fatty" Botley Jr., a 20-year-old African American male from Port Arthur, Texas, tragically passed away on January 29, 2022. He was a 2020 graduate of Memorial High School and was well-loved by his family and friends. Botley Jr.'s death occurred at the Encore Apartments in the 3600 block of Jimmy Johnson Blvd. According to reports, he was involved in an argument with another individual when shots were fired, leading to his fatal injuries.
