Kealon Dejuane Gilmore, a 26-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost his life on April 2, 2022. He was fatally shot at a non-permitted event known as the Epic Easter Bike Out and Field Party held in southeast Oak Cliff. The event, which drew around 2,000 attendees, was marred by violence when a fight broke out, leading to gunfire. Kealon was among the 16 people injured in the shooting, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
