Thomas Dabney, a 59-year-old male from Dallas, Texas, was tragically killed on August 3, 2017. He was found dead at a house on Morgan Street, which had previously been a daycare but had since become a known drug house. Alongside him, 33-year-old Jared McKnight was also shot and killed. The investigation revealed that the suspect, Viantre Kimbrough, was known to both victims and was believed to have killed them over a financial dispute.
