Mauricio Israel Islas, a 19-year-old Hispanic male from Odessa, Texas, tragically died on April 24, 2022, from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was found mortally wounded after his vehicle crashed through a fence and ended up in a pasture. Islas managed to call his cousin for help before succumbing to his injuries at Medical Center Hospital.
