Treginale LaShon "Pinkie" White, a 41-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically passed away on July 13, 2018, in Odessa, Texas. He was born on August 16, 1976, to Glenda White Clay and Paul Wayne White, and graduated from Abilene High School. Treginale White was a beloved husband, father, and brother who left behind a wife, Martina White, and two daughters, Latrice Bibbs and Teeundra White, among other family members.

The circumstances surrounding Treginale White's death involved a violent altercation. On the night of July 13, 2018, a disturbance occurred outside a convenience store at Highway 80 and Eighth Street in Odessa. During this altercation, Treginale White and his brother, Roderick White, got into a physical confrontation with two individuals. Rondale Gerrod Farris, one of the individuals involved in the fight, left the store and shot Treginale White. White was transported to Medical Center Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following the incident, the Odessa Police Department, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, launched an investigation. They obtained murder warrants for Rondale Gerrod Farris and Christopher Warren George. Farris fled to California but was eventually arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force in Compton on January 18, 2019. George was arrested in Odessa on July 31, 2018. Both Farris and George were charged with murder.

In April 2022, Rondale Gerrod Farris was sentenced to 65 years in prison for the murder of Treginale White. The court heard testimonies from White's family members, who expressed their grief and loss. Farris' attorney requested mercy, citing his client's respectful behavior during the trial, but the jury ultimately decided on a lengthy sentence.

The case highlighted the devastating impact of gun violence on families and communities. Treginale White's family continues to mourn his loss and seek justice for his untimely death. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to bring all responsible parties to justice.
