Hernaza Jenkins, a 58-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost his life on May 3, 2022. He was fatally shot in the chest after being pistol-whipped by an unknown assailant near a grocery store in Southeast Dallas. The suspect, described as a Black male wearing all white and a white gator mask, fled the scene after the attack. Despite efforts by Dallas Fire-Rescue to transport Jenkins to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
