Tyrell A. Thompson, aged 28, was killed in an attempted robbery on June 9, 2016, in the Central West End area of St. Louis, Missouri. The incident took place at approximately 1:18 a.m. at 4545 Olive Street. Tyrell was walking with a companion when they were approached by two suspects who attempted to rob them at gunpoint.
