In the summer of 2016, the life of Kenneth Reed, a 30-year-old African-American man from St. Louis, Missouri, was tragically cut short. On June 9th, he and another man, Damion Alton, were found shot to death in the 1300 block of Burd Avenue.

The discovery of the two men sent ripples of concern through the community. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing two unidentified Black males fleeing the area shortly after the sound of gunshots pierced the air. A blue sedan was also spotted parked ...
