On March 7, 2023, at approximately 2:44 p.m., 30-year-old Eddie Johnson III was found deceased inside an apartment in the 1600 block of Burd Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Johnson was involved in a domestic dispute with the mother of his child when two men in their twenties intervened, leading to his fatal shooting.
