Keegan Spears, a 26-year-old male from Houston, TX, tragically lost his life on May 19, 2022. He was fatally shot at around 2:25 p.m. at 9600 Court Glen Drive. When Houston Police Department patrol officers arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Spears unresponsive inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Ben Taub General Hospital, he was pronounced deceased.
Following a thorough investigation, HPD Homicide Division Detectives C.
Flora and J. Flores identified two suspects, Timothy F. Bell, 29, and Corey Michael-Corne Enclarde, 32, in connection with the incident. Both suspects were arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 185th State District Court. Timothy F. Bell was arrested on May 31, 2022, and Corey Michael-Corne Enclarde was arrested the following day, June 1, 2022.
The case against Bell and Enclarde was built on evidence gathered at the scene and witness testimonies. The suspects were formally charged and awaited trial for their roles in the fatal shooting of Keegan Spears.
