On the evening of June 1, 2017, 17-year-old Joseph Anthony Reyes, a recent graduate of North Shore Senior High School in Houston, Texas, was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the driveway of his home on the 13800 block of Northlake and Fernlake. His mother, upon hearing a gunshot and screams, discovered her son and attempted CPR before he was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
