On May 22, 2022, 26-year-old Devante Ivory, a male of African American ethnicity, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Dallas, Texas. Ivory was found lying on the sidewalk in the 3200 block of Jerome Street, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Two other individuals, a male and a female, were also shot and critically injured in the attack. They were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
