On June 3, 2022, 15-year-old Noel King was tragically shot and killed at Derrick Geter Park in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred early in the morning, just minutes into National Gun Violence Awareness Day. According to reports, the shooting was the result of a fight arranged by two females on social media, which escalated when someone pulled out a gun and began shooting.
