On July 23, 2022, 15-year-old Edgar Evarado Menchaca was tragically shot and killed in San Antonio, Texas. Edgar, along with his 14-year-old cousin Edgar Emiliano Rojas, was sitting in a car at the corner of Schley and South Mittman when an unknown number of rounds were fired into the vehicle. Edgar called 911 for help as he was taking his last breaths, but he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
