On September 25, 2022, 14-year-old Manuel Sterling Edwards was tragically shot and killed in a vacant lot in South Dallas, Texas. Manuel was found with multiple gunshot wounds near his home on Al Lipscomb Way. He was a seventh-grader at Billy Earl Dade Middle School and was known as his mother Cynthia Edwards' "miracle baby" because she almost lost him during childbirth.

Following Manuel's death, Dallas police arrested three suspects: Treveion Harris, Alonzo Simpson, and Gregory Ellison. ...Read More
