Alfredo Villarreal, a 28-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on October 3, 2022, in Laredo, Texas. His body was discovered inside a vehicle at a trailer park in the 300 block of International Boulevard. Villarreal had been fatally shot multiple times, with gunshot wounds to his upper back, buttocks, lower abdomen, and inner thigh.
The investigation revealed that Villarreal was last seen driving the vehicle, which was later found abandoned at the trailer park.
The Laredo Police Department launched an investigation into Villarreal's death and arrested four individuals in connection with the crime: Christian Benito Salinas , Damian Contreras , Kayleen Contreras , and Paula Gonzalez . These individuals were charged with various offenses, including murder and failure to report a felony. Additionally, Javier Contreras , identified as a Mexican Mafia captain, was also implicated in Villarreal's death. Contreras was arrested with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals and charged with murder.
The investigation revealed that Villarreal had been lured into a home in the 200 block of East Olive Street, where he was shot by Javier Contreras. The motive behind the killing was reportedly due to Villarreal allegedly raping a woman. The case remains under investigation, and the authorities continue to seek justice for Alfredo Villarreal.
