On November 27, 2022, Lyndon Williams Jr., a 10-year-old boy from Pasadena, Texas, tragically died after accidentally shooting himself in the head with a handgun. The incident occurred at an apartment complex in the 2300 block of Red Bluff Road. Lyndon Williams Jr. was African American.
