Homer Luis Garcia, a 15-year-old Hispanic male from Pasadena, Texas, tragically lost his life on July 7, 1973. He was one of the victims of the notorious serial killer Dean Corll, who was infamously known as the "Candy Man". Corll, along with his teenage accomplices Elmer Wayne Henley and David Owen Brooks, abducted, raped, tortured, and murdered at least 28 teenage boys and young men between 1970 and 1973 in Houston and Pasadena, Texas.
