Christopher Abeyta, just seven months old, disappeared from his family's home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the early hours of July 15, 1986. His parents had placed him in his crib at around midnight, but by the morning, they found it empty. The house showed no clear signs of forced entry, although a basement window was open, and the front door was unlocked. Authorities suspect that Christopher was abducted, but no substantial leads have emerged in the decades since.
