Ivan Reed, a 20-year-old male from Lubbock, Texas, tragically died on December 25, 2022, from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the 2100 block of East 4th Street, where officers responded to reports of shots fired just before midnight. Upon arrival, they found Reed with serious injuries and transported him to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:11 a.m. the following morning.
