City Marshal Milton Harvey Galloway, age 40, of Spring City, Tennessee, tragically died on November 10, 1906. He succumbed to injuries sustained three days earlier while attempting to arrest a drunk and disorderly man at the city's train depot. The suspect, who was not identified in the records, pulled out a .38 caliber revolver and shot Marshal Galloway twice. Despite medical efforts, Galloway passed away from his injuries on November 13, 1906.
