On the night of July 22, 2023, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, 32-year-old Javon Milik Ellis was shot and killed. The Oak Ridge Police Department, along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, launched a homicide investigation into the death of the male victim.
