In the summer of 2000, tragedy struck in Knoxville, Tennessee, ending the life of Kermit D. Woods, a 49-year-old male. On the evening of June 25th, Woods was discovered at the intersection of Morgan Street and Jackson Avenue with a fatal gunshot wound to his chest.
