On April 30, 2001, 20-year-old African American male Raymond Kresha Womble was fatally shot in Knoxville, Tennessee. The incident occurred on Burge Avenue, and his body was later discovered at 1226 E. New Street.
Despite the passage of time, this case remains unsolved. The Knoxville Police Department continues to seek information regarding the circumstances surrounding Raymond Womble's death. As of now, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified.
