DaChanna Deshay Dotson, a 17-year-old African American female, tragically lost her life on June 9, 2010, in Knoxville, Tennessee. DaChanna, affectionately known as "Muffin," was a vibrant young woman with a promising future ahead of her. She was a student at Austin-East Magnet High School and was eagerly looking forward to her graduation. Her untimely death left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the entire community.
