Leasa Renee Harper Smith, a 41-year-old female, died on December 4, 2012, after violence erupted inside a home off Cedar Grove School Loop Road in the Nashville area of Nash County, North Carolina. Earlier that day, the quiet of the rural neighborhood gave way to flashing lights and deputies arriving at the house in the 7300 block, where Smith was found inside with a fatal gunshot wound.
