In a tragic turn of events stemming from an online advertisement, Larry Wilkins Jr., a 37-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, was killed on March 9, 2014. Wilkins, a father of six and a FedEx package handler, had placed a Craigslist ad to sell his 2006 Ford Mustang. He arranged to meet three prospective buyers at the Sycamore Lake Apartments on Sycamore View Road and Raleigh LaGrange Road, the complex where he lived with his fiancée.
