In a South Memphis neighborhood, a dispute between two men escalated into a fatal encounter, leaving one man dead and the other facing a lifetime behind bars. The victim was Michael Richard, a 47-year-old man, who was shot and killed following an argument on May 23, 2014. The man responsible for his death was Marlon Boyd, a 46-year-old from Memphis.
