In the early morning hours of a summer day in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Jeremy Watkins, a 23-year-old African-American male, was found fatally shot on June 7, 2014. The discovery was made after police responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle in the vicinity of Aldridge and Stoneham streets at approximately 2:40 a.m..
