In December of 2014, the life of 37-year-old Dana Rodriegus Mayo, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Nashville, Tennessee. His mother reported him missing on December 16, 2014, after he failed to return home the previous day as promised. He had left his house at approximately 4:00 p.m. on December 15th, telling his mother he would be right back. When he did not return and was not answering his phone, concern grew for his welfare.
