On October 13, 2018, Frank Blair IV, a 40-year-old African American man from Nashville, TN, was fatally shot while watching a football game with friends at a residence on Cliff Drive. Around 9:00 PM, a man dressed in all black with a black face mask and hoodie approached the glass storm door and began shooting. Blair was struck multiple times and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Another man at the scene was treated for a gunshot wound to his arm and released.
