On a spring evening in Clarksville, Tennessee, the pleasant atmosphere of a cookout was shattered by sudden violence. On March 23, 2015, Vincent Pardue, a 27-year-old male, was gathered with a group of people on Carpenter Street when they came under fire in a drive-by shooting. The attack was swift and devastating, leaving multiple individuals with injuries. Pardue, however, suffered a fatal wound and died as a result of the shooting.
