In the winter of 2017, a tragedy unfolded in north St. Louis that cut short a life barely begun. Four-month-old Dorian Whitlock, a baby girl, was found unresponsive in a residence on North Florissant Avenue. Emergency services were called to the scene, and the infant was quickly transported to a nearby hospital. Despite the efforts of medical staff, she was pronounced dead.
