On the night of July 4, 2015, 23-year-old Jose Luis Morales-Rodriguez was fatally shot while sitting in his Ford Ranger at the intersection of Amelia Drive and Amelia Court in Nashville, TN. Morales-Rodriguez had driven his friend to visit a girl who lived at that location. Shortly before midnight, he was shot, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
