Brandy Morrison, a 23-year-old woman from St. Louis, Missouri, was killed on January 24, 2017. Her body was discovered inside a dumpster and was later moved to a landfill in Marissa, Illinois. Morrison had been shot in the head, and the brutal nature of the crime shocked the community. Paulren Stepter, aged 51 at the time, was later arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
