In the warm evening of June 11, 2017, the life of 23-year-old Shanae Walker was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire on Euclid Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. A vibrant young woman, she was in a vehicle with a male companion when the shooting occurred. Walker sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man with her was also wounded and subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.
