In the winter of 2015, a young life was abruptly cut short on a street in southeast Memphis. On December 8th, 18-year-old Deon Saulsberry was near his home on Croley Drive when an argument escalated to fatal violence. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and did not survive the encounter.
