In the heart of a Memphis winter, a young life was tragically cut short, leaving a family and community to grapple with the sudden and violent loss. Terrence LaDell Thompson, a 21-year-old male, was killed on Sunday, February 14, 2016. The incident that claimed his life unfolded in the afternoon, at approximately 3:25 p.m., in the 700 block of Hazelwood in Southwest Memphis.
