In the fall of 2016, the life of a young man, Brelyn Cherry, a 21-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On the evening of October 7, 2016, in Savannah, Tennessee, a fatal encounter unfolded that would ultimately lead to a conviction in his death.
